Pros

Sauer-Danfoss has terrific career development opportunities including, international business, and functional experience. Great people focused culture. Good work family balance.

Cons

As you develop in your career there is an increasing amount of travel required. Sauer-Danfoss has struggled over the last year but seems to be getting it's footing again.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Sauer-Danfoss needs to be dedicated to fulfilling the "pulse" document which was recently rolled out - good plan focused in the right areas.

    I have been working at Sauer-Danfoss

    Pros

    Sauer-Danfoss values their employees like they value their customers. The tuition reimbursement is a great program which they offer. They allow you to take classes during the day if you can still get your work done. Office employees have the flexibility to take time during the workday to attend your child's events. There are opportunities to travel and live overseas.

    Cons

    It takes a many years to truly advance within the company. Seniority is rewarded more so than ability. There are many people that have worked their entire career within Sauer-Danfoss and have a very limited view of how to conduct business.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Senior Management should reinstate profit sharing when performance goals are met at the business unit, division, or company levels for all the employees. I believe we could achieve greater profitability, benefit the shareholders with larger dividends, plus the VPs and Directors could see an even bigger bonus.

    The company would benefit from new blood at all management levels.
