Good salary and benefits but turnover is high, morale is low and many groups are understaffed

Security Architect (Current Employee)
Saint Louis, MO

I have been working at Savvis full-time for more than 5 years

ProsThere are some smart people at the company, salary is good, vacation and benefits are good.

ConsSome groups are painfully understaffed and morale is very low. If you work with Savvis customers on a regular basis, you can see long wait times for problems to be fixed, open cases not getting a response. You have to babysit everything to make progress.

Advice to Senior ManagementHire more people in groups that are sorely understaffed. Improve product offerings to customers by applying customer feedback and improving the technology

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend

Pros: Great people, most frontline and middle management really seem to… Cons: Sometimes poor communication between groups. Very silo'ed environment. Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend – I'm optimistic about the outlook for this company… More
