Pros

Not another company like them in the Midwest. They have huge clients. They offer the best technology to customers. Global support teams.

Cons

Big clients get what they want to the detriment of uniformity. Overworked and under appreciated at times.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Push hard to create simple and uniform products. Start naming products in simple and uniform terms.

Current Employee - Software Engineer in Saint Louis, MO

    Pros

Excellent management. Ethical corporation. Lots of long-term employees who know a lot about the company and where it needs to go, mixed with a new and enthusiastic bunch of Agile teams.

    Cons

Parent company (CenturyLink) doesn't share the Savvis vision. In the long run, the Savvis dedication to excellence may be diluted by CenturyLink's dedication to mediocrity.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Pros

Good compensation and some people are knowledgeable in their professions

    Cons

Poor management. All yes-men at the top. This company is going nowhere. They're so disorganized that they don't know what they're doing. There's so much in-fighting between groups that nothing gets accomplished.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Fire everyone at the director and higher levels, and let CenturyLink take over.
