I have been working at Savvis

Pros – Internet Hosting company puts you to work servicing some of the Internet's biggest names. The company's data centers are pretty technologically advanced, and working in them does have some degree of prestige. The health benefits are fair, and there is an ESPP.

Cons – The company is based out of Saint Louis, and has offices around the globe. Many sattelite offices appear overlooked, with favor instead placed on Saint Louis employees and offices. Is a career path in a location outside the "favored area" (STL) worth it? Not really.

Advice to Senior Management – Support Jim. He has a vision, and is probably the only person, at this point, who can right the ship. Too much time has been devoted to reorgs, and not enough time has been given to fix things that have been disfunctional for years.

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend
