Cons

Very poor leadership, and it is dominated by people who use the "command and control" method. Poor IT support and defective systems. Poor communication - there is either no communication or it is miscommunication. There is a double standard of accountability. The workload is impossible to balance with family needs.

Advice to Senior Management

If you want to use the Schering-Plough motto of "Earning Trust Everyday", you have to start with telling the truth. No one- employees, Congress, the public - believes you. Command and control does not work. There should not be a double standard regarding leader behaviours - the same performance benchmarks should be applied to low-level and high-level employees.
