Pros

-work for the #1 oilfield services company in the world
-gain global exposure and a multicultural mindset
-work with cross-functional teams
-ability to gain experience in a diversity of areas/disciplines
-work with individuals from different cultures and countries
-at the crux of technological innovation

Cons

-company culture prefers professionals with Engineering degree
-magnitude of organization creates difficulties for advancement, stuck in a niche
-process-oriented environment can become tedious in some areas

Advice to ManagementAdvice

-in advocating for "diversity" give wider opportunities for individuals with backgrounds other than Engineering

    Excellent technical training program
    Good career growth opportunity
    Technical leader in the oil & gas industry

    Cons

    Relently implement processes, rules and procedures and do not listen to the employees
    High working pressure and tough work environment
    High attrition rate due to unhappy employees
    Under-trained managers
    Decreasing benefits and compensations

    Listen and talk to the employees first before implementing stupid rules
    Motivate the employees by listening to them
    Improve benefits and compenstations
    Train entry level and middle management to treat every employee fairly
