I have been working at Schlumberger full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Good training, Very good salary, Good work experience, Good Ethics

    Cons

Not nearly as flexible as they made them selves out to be, You have almost no control over you career, I don't feel like I have a personnel manager (I have some guy who is lives??? I don't know where) this really gets on my nerves as I don't feel like I have anyone to talk to who is not invested in my career also I feel that if I email him issues you could get out of my control as the email could be circulated if I cold talk to him I would know that my point had been understood (In SLB there are many people with below par understanding of English and might misunderstand an issue).

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

People need to have face to face contact with personnel managers and also have a relationship with them, sending an email someone that you have never met to help you handle a delicate issue is not fair.
