Current Employee - Manager
Current Employee - Manager

I have been working at Schlumberger full-time (more than 10 years)

Pros

Huge opportunities to advance in different roles, no matter your nationalitiy
Competitive packages among the Service Companies

Cons

No competitive packages compare with the Operators (Shell, BP, Chevron, etc)
Difficult schedules on the start of the career
Might make you get so inmerse on the job that other non job related activities get less care (like family, health, etc). Need to be very well balanced yourself to counteract this issue
Decisions are made based on the results of the Quarter or even the current month

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Mid and long term visibility. Decisions cannot be made just to solve the quarterly results and then create a prolem for upcoming periods
