    Pros

They hire some of the best minds and nicest people in the business. The hours are very flexible. The pay is competitive.

    Cons

The company runs on a standard corporate bureaucracy with the politics you might expect. Much of the engineering work encompasses a fairly narrow range of problems.

    Advice to Management

Pay close attention to the work of the design engineers. They are producing the technology that keeps Schlumberger ahead of the competition. It never hurts to recognize that.

    No opinion of CEO

    Pros

    -Decent Pay in industry.
-Immense amount of pressure on safety (because profits depend on it)
-Opportunity to work on your ideas, and taking ownership of a project
    -Training is provided
-If you can deliver consistency, this company will move you up
-See the world if you're open to it
-2 years then switch new role
-Seen people get a head start by joining this company
-Schlumberger Brand: Attract a lot of HR/Head-hunter for companies that will take you under their umbrella if decide management upset you off or unhappy

    Cons

-Pay increase based on likability not performance. Bonus or 'PIP' only after you been with company for several years or have certain 'grade'
-Long hours, stress, people quitting and you taking on their responsibility.
-Retention all time low and gets worse in this organization because people are fed-up not because of Schlumberger (great brand), but their manager or management.
-Houston is the worst office to work at based on experience - people just seems to have their fingers stuck up in their nose.

    Advice to Management

No advice, you all are perfect !
