I worked at Schlumberger full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

This is a great company to start at. It has a great training program. You get to visit a lot of companies and build your network while you build your experience level.

    Cons

They make you jump through a lot of hoops to get to the next level, so your rate of advancement is limited by how fast you can complete your projects while also working full time.

    Advice to Management

Give your people more opportunity to grow and advance in their career so they don't jump ship just to get advancement. Also don't run so lean, you overwork your good performers and they leave.
