Pros

Schlumberger training is top notch. Safety is held in the highest regard. Compensation and insurance is better than most. If you're willing to put in the hours and have a high attention to detail and are a quick learner you will go far with this company.

Cons

Stress at SLB is very high as business is good. Moral is very low and there is a big disconnect between management and those that work for them.
OT is strongly encouraged and you will be made to feel that it's mandatory when in actuality it isn't. Promises made aren't always kept.

Advice to Management

    Pros

Here's why I love working here: Continuously innovative and learning
    Ethical
    Meritocracy
    Truly diverse company
    Intentionally gender-diverse
People are "understated" (most have post-grad degrees and vast experience but do not flaunt)

    Cons

I wouldn't call these coca, but challenges to manage:
    Highly-driven culture
    Limited resources
    Tight deadlines

    Advice to Management

    Keep up the good work!

    Pros

Great training, good pay, clean working environment.

    Cons

The culture of hiring most new employees under contracts and extending their contract for as long as they can to save few dollars on benefits and pay increase. Plus some of the management's mistreatment of such contractors is totally out of control.

    Advice to Management

To take some courses on how to treat all humans as equal.
