Pros

An Organization that constantly pursue the self improvement, values that are aligned to the Mission & Vision of the company. Good balance among personal & professional life.

Cons

A lot of changes in a short period of time. Global alignment of functions has derived on disconnection between people that used to work together for the same goal.

Advice to Management

Changes are good, it is important to take into account all the different consequences prior to execute the change in order to avoid disconnection and confusion among employees when this changes happen.

    Pros

There company is really in a good spot in terms of their ability to offer a full range of solutions to changing customer demands. Given their acquisition pattern over the past several years, they have a compelling value proposition to the customer. There is and will be opportunity for those with thick skin.

    Cons

The strategic direction of the business seems to be a bit off. They're trying to be everything to everyone and can't put together a strategy that makes sense to a customer or their employees. Work life balance is brutal and continues to worsen as they continue to cut costs to make up for low margin business.

    Advice to Management

Figure out what you are going to be and go after it. Know what the tradeoffs are for changing your business model. Be realistic in your expectations of your employees and your profits.

    Pros

its a fortune 500 corporation offering global and functional opportunities and encouraging employees mobility, it enjoys solid market position and delivers good financial performance.

    Cons

there is a lot of bureaucracy, politics, and organizational complexity, hr policies are rather formal and lack follow through, link between performance and reward is obscure.
