    Top management have the right strategy, local management more interested in turf guarding.

    I worked at Schneider Electric

    Pros

    The strategy piece of Schneider Electric works well. Great people work there.

    Cons

    At the high level the strategy appears to be working, but at the lower level the country management did no drive the tope level strategy. Career progressions works well but then usually stalls. Short terms incentive programs drive the business to make curious decisions at times. Too many managers all wanting to show they are driving the strategy, resulting in conflicting goals.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    They need to work on their extended supply chain in order to keep the customer satisfaction levels high. Regional management and the functional management need to re enforce the transformation the company is going through.
