Former Employee - Intern in Manisa (Turkey)

I worked at Schneider Electric as an intern for less than a year

    Pros

We as interns have an opportunity to work with managers and we had a chance to make presentation about our projects to top managers of the factory and HR director of Schneider Turkey.

    Cons

There is big gap between white collar and blue collar. Even in food line, they cannot see each other.
The system is static, it is not easy to change something even in a good way.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Managers can try to create environment which people can add values to each other and the whole company. Currently noone wants to improve something.

Current Employee - Business Development Manager  in  Singapore (Singapore)

I have been working at Schneider Electric full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Opportunity to work with people from different countries, race etc. Very diverse culture. Opportunity to work with a wide variety of products, software and solutions.

    Cons

Lots of IT and HR senior management people that do not understand the business and do not care about employees. Priority is given to French or European people. Local talent is put as low priority.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Walk to talk. Senior management should get connected to the ground people. Don't go thru layers and layers of middle management and secretary. Understand the ground people.
