I have been working at Schneider Electric (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Large range of products, mobility, work life balance, pay, experience, overall package.

    Cons

Older lazy people who bad mouth the company because they are to lazy to work hard and earn their keep. Schneider is starting to hire younger people. The older work force feels threatened. They were used to a day where the product was 100% of the sale. Now that they actually have to work hard they complain. They are the ones who post this crap on glassdoor. To say SE has a bad work life balance is a complete lie. I had to stick up for the company here. And BTW I'm not HR and I'm not an executive. I'm just a project manager.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Fire the bad apples that have nothing but bad stuff to stay. Stop following your political agenda and create a true learning organization. The people up top in most of the divisions provide no value to the team. They just stomp their foot and decide where the entire company should go. Take a close look at the Vice President level and ask yourself. Do they do ANYTHING good for our company? I'm talking about a couple specific people. You should know. Remember..it's not about what one person wants. It's about what's good for the company. Take a close look at lost market share and hold the person responsible who is letting it drop.
