I worked at Schneider full-time (less than an year)

    Pros

    Starting to get new equipment.

    Cons

A driver there is nothing more than a number. Even after dealing with a dispatcher for a year, they do not know your name, only your driver number.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Gear yourselves more towards being driver oriented and friendly.

Former Employee - Anonymous Employee in Green Bay, WI

I worked at Schneider full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

The company has tons of different types of roles and job opportunities. Sit-ins are encouraged to learn about other roles and move up within the company. Hard workers are noticed and promoted. The people are amazing and put their whole heart into their work

    Cons

With such a large company it's hard to know what's out there for other opportunities are out there or where to begin. While most people are awesome, some managers have been kept around due to longevity versus skill. Work/like balance can get out of hand if you don't set your own limits.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Be more visible! All the executives are in one wing versus spread throughout like with many employers.
