Good company for people who wish to retire

Pros-.Not much work load.
- People are very friendly.
- Job security (well for most of the people)

Cons- Overall technology front of the company is pretty low.
- Not many opportunities to advance in your carrier.
- Too much bureaucracy to do simple things.

Advice to Senior ManagementTry-n-think ahead.

Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend – I'm optimistic about the outlook for this company

    Some good, some bad; adds up to so-so

    I have been working at Scholastic full-time for more than 8 years


    Pros: Benefits are very good. A health-care clinic and a small gym on the premises are nice perks, as is the lovely roof-deck "Greenhouse"… Cons: Communication is extremely poor. One hand doesn't seem to know what the other is doing.
