    Pros

    You can make good money if you can put in 70+ hours a week on a regular basis. Tasty products and fun people interaction.

    Cons

    No vacation time until you put in 1 years worth of 70+ hour weeks 5 days a week. Along with that, any day you need to take off you have to make up. You cannot take an unpaid day off. Schwan's used to be about the employee and the families. It has slowly deteriorated over time to be strictly about monetary gain.

    Advice to Management

    LGM's I know that you lost power with the new pay program, but do your best to be flexible like you could before with your employees. Get the point to upper management that no unpaid days off is quite unrealistic for the average worker.

    Pros

    Great brand recognition, devoted employees at plant levels.

    Cons

    Marshall, too much turnover, not consistent leadership goals, game playing with the numbers to CYA. Much better with new CEO!

    Advice to Management

    Continue to evaluate senior leadership at Marshall to see if they truly fit the company values. Continue to purge the folks that were followers of the previous CEO. Consistency, steady, goal orieted leadership over the long haul will win the race. Promote those that deliver and demonstrate the company values and correct the rest that don't.
