I worked at Scotiabank full-time (more than 8 years)

Pros

Worked in executive offices for 8 years. Found it to be a very productive period. Learned a lot, loved my co-workers, senior management was great. Scotiabank is very well run.

Cons

Not really many cons to speak of.

    - Many opportunities to advance your career

    Cons

    Salaries are lower than they should be - raises are not enough, full time employees receive under a dollar extra per hour

    Come out of your offices more and connect with your staff - don't ask for an email of the problems or concerns, talk to people one on one, allow your staff (no matter how many levels below you they may be) to feel comfortable around you
