I have been working at Scotiabank full-time for less than a year

Pros

Great career start considering you will touch on many aspects of business such as revolving credit, retail sales, Investments and term lending.

Will get recognized if you work hard and overachieve. I have seen many promotions happen in the span of a few months of working.

One of the best training programs

Get to wear a suit!

Cons

If you can't handle sales pressure this will not work for you. Must meet quotas every week.

Must be able to prioritize your work. You will eventually be overloaded with walk ins, calls, contact from call centers, distressed clients. Some things are more important than others, you must know what to focus on first.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Keep recognizing hard workers and not those who cut corners in order to sell. The latter lowers customer approval and satisfaction.

Recommends
Positive Outlook
No opinion of CEO
