Pros

If you need a job and cannot find any other to place work.

Cons

They talk about compassion, but they actually never practice it.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Make some policy changes regarding employees taking time off when some one is sick in the family even though the employee is new and is on probation, give consideration to each situation instead of having a policy that does not reflect what you preach.

I have been working at Scotiabank

    Pros

The vacation time and personal obligation days are good. Furthermore, if you have any unused vacation days you can carry them into the new year ahead.

    Cons

Nepotism is very high. They are very unfair and treat people with no respect unless your mother, uncle, sister etc works for them. Management is very inefficient when it comes to addressing issues in the work place.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

They should hire fully qualified and professional people.
