Pros

The employees, from the top of the organization to entry positions, enjoy what they do. Communication within the organization is also great.

Cons

The down-time after tax season could be considered a con for some, but if you find ways to fill that time doing something productive there is close to no cons.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

I worked at Scottrade as an intern (less than an year)

    Pros

Scottrade is very flexible with your school schedule when interning. You make $10 an hour with opportunity for raise at 6 months employment. You will work no later than 5pm. No experience with the stock market is necessary for employment and you will learn a lot about investing post interning.

    Cons

Opportunity for growth is difficult at the branch level after internship, but moving to St Louis or Denver for jobs at HQ is possible.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Management at the branch level is excellent!
