Great team members....pay/benefits/work-from-home options were lackluster

Pros

The team was focused on the task at hand, yet were very friendly and worked together to accomplish goals. Discounts around the St. Louis area (gyms, free Blues/Cards tickets, etc.)

Cons

Internship was a bit mundane and repetitive, sometimes had to plead management for work. Pay for full-timers was not even close to being competitive, even if the culture is decent. Lackluster benefits, time off, and work-from-home policies

Advice to Management

Offer more work-from-home/flexible work schedules and don't lowball on pay.

    Pros

great learning experience, great people to work with, and an overall fun environment. If your a college student looking for an entrance into financial markets, this may be for you.

    Cons

Busy work is far too common. Interns are limited in the amount of work they can do and are made to much into secretaries rather than interns. There are days in which the job may correlate to that of a office minion.

    Advice to Management

give interns more authority and more important tasks.

  2. Feels like a large family

    Pros

    401k matching
    Wellness benefits
    Health Insurance
    Technical support

    Cons

    Limited vacation days
    Limited advancement
Days and long and boring--answering unsophisticated investors questions all day long
    Bonus plan is very low
Overall pay was no where near orginal job estimates
Quarterly performance reviews, much effort, little reward - much of bonus is based on Customer Statifaction for branches and branch is responsible for things that they have no control over.

    Advice to Management

    Add additional vacation days
Allow for regional positions that would allow for more upward mobility
Do annual and semi-annual performance reviews/bonus plan instead of quarterly
Reward branches based on asset gathering, profitablity, etc.
