I have been working at Scottrade as an intern (less than an year)

Pros

Great coworkers. Unlimited access to financial tools. Great learning opportunities. Excellent corporate culture and communications with the home office.

Cons

Much of the information you learn is very firm specific. An intern will not be able to answer many of the questions due to regulations.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Great job! Maybe add a little more personal interaction to the training process rather than just reading page after page.

I have been working at Scottrade full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

You can jump on the raft and float down the river.

    Cons

If you care about what you do, are educated, have common sense, are results oriented and work hard then you will be a failure here.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Most of you should recognize by now that you have been promoted beyond your capabilities or should be long retired. Please find new leadership to steer the ship back on course!
