I worked at Scripps College as an intern (more than an year)

Pros

I learned to use many different types of equipment, including cameras and audio. The staff is very friendly and welcoming, always willing to answer any questions, teach you equipment use or show you how to fix equipment.

Cons

A little more guidance is needed in terms of the expectations of interns and their duties. It could be helpful if a schedule is prepared so that interns follow it and execute different tasks every shift.

    Pros

    (Worked at Dean of Students)
Really nice people to work with.
Also flexible hours, and you get to learn how to work independently.

    Cons

Sometimes you have to answer the phone!
Sometimes the tasks are tedious or you have to do repetitive things like stuff envelopes,
    but this isn't common
