Pros

They have job openings because they have a large turnover.

Cons

They fire people who have been working there for a long time so they can hire cheaper employees.

Advice to Management

Put value in older employees, they know alot.

    Pros

discount on merchandise (although overpriced to begin with), new/most recent Store Manager was very intelligent, driven, and actually took action on things.

    Cons

no wage increases in many years, lack of appreciation and/or recognition, too much focus on numbers/sales/profit etc. which lead employees to feel like nothing they did was ever good enough, too few employee recognition programs, no company parties/events/or fun activities, not enough decision-making power given to individual stores-everything was corporate driven by individuals who do not truly know what goes on at a store level.

    Advice to Management

Need way more focus on employee appreciation/recognition or you will eventually lose all of your greatest players. Need to re-implement merit increases for the same reason. Give more decision-making power to Store Management Teams and not base everything on numbers you see on paper. Get them more involved and ask what works/doesn't work.

    Pros

    Good a working with schedules

    Cons

Little to no pay raises, drastic cut in hours to associates, little opportunity for advancement

    Advice to Management

If you want employees to stay with the company and keep experienced associates, compensation needs to be readjusted to reward those who put in their hard work and dedication but receive little to no incentive to stay with the company
