I have been working at Sears

    Pros

Good work environment, with access to plenty amenities.

    Cons

Somewhat disorganized, but I think the larger the company, the more disorganized in general the company is, unfortunately.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Give people psychological tests every week, or maybe hook employees up to polygraphs, to see if people like their jobs or working for the company. Those who don't, let them go. Too many people who don't like their jobs are there, causing the whole company to not be as productive as it should.

I have been working at Sears

    Pros

-dedicated hourly employees, good customer experience

    Cons

not a very good work-life balance. A typical day was at least 12-14 hours, expect to work many 6 day weeks. You will waste a lot of time trying to fix outdated broken equipment. The company lacks a solid training program for it's managers and associates. If you get hired with sears expect to have keys handed to you with absolutely no training.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Be more committed to associates growth. Develop and excute a vision that will result in a culture of sustained excellence.
