I worked at Sears full-time (more than 8 years)

    Pros

There isn't any positives to working at Sears. run DON'T walk away from working at this company!

    Cons

Poorly managed by upper management. Poor Pay at store level. Upper management treats lower level associates like garbage. Morale throughout the store is very low due to poor treatment and pay. Stores need to be remodeled and updated. Systems are terribly slow and outdated. If you don't kiss the rear end of a superior, do not expect to move through the organization or get a raise, even if you work hard. Customers treat the store and associates like dirt, always bringing up the "old ways" of Sears...

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Stop the threatening management style and give raises and promotions! Update the stores and systems.
