I worked at Sears part-time (More than a year)

Pros

Theres alot of downtime, most managers are laid back. You have the ability to work at your own pace.

Cons

The pay is stiff. Advancement is near impossible without working there at least 5+ years

    Pros

Great place for Career Enrichment and Development! The Home Services business team is always forward thinking and looking to create the greatest customer experience. The Service Contracts LOB has a great Senior Leadership team and is a high performing sales group that is always looking to create long term customer relationships while continuing to create positive revenues.

    Cons

Benefits leave little to be desired.

    Advice to Management

Continue to cascade the vision for this company, and invest in the development of your employees.

I have been working at Sears part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Started working there in late November for some extra holiday money. It was a pleasant experience, the hours were good and management seems to work well with you. The employees there are very nice and are always available to help.

    Cons

Downside would probably be is you can tell that Sears is getting old. The store just doesn't seem as modern compared to other retailers. In addition computer registers are old which makes checking out a longer process than it should be.
