You can get away with murder if you get people to apply for credit cards.

    I worked at Sears part-time

    Pros

-If you do well in credit you could take longer breaks, do less work, and not get yelled at..
    - Coworkers are usually cool
    - flexible schedule

    Cons

    -No hours after holidays
    - Insane credit expectations even when there is literally NO customers in the store.
    - If you don't reach your daily goal for credit, you'll get bugged constantly for the rest of your job experience
    -Rude customers all the time
    - Loss Prevention doesn't do anything except try to get you fired over minuscule actions
    - Zero advancement opportunities
    - Minimum wage is annoying considering you do much more work than comparable entry-level jobs

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Spend a week as a cashier before making any stupid decisions. There is a reason why Sears is going down quick.

    I worked at Sears full-time

    Pros

having a job, but then again no even that is not worth working for Sears

    Cons

You have to keep on top of your paychecks because they are constantly incorrect. Management is not educated and seemingly in their positions due to who they know and the prevalent boys club mentality. Promises are never kept and you will not be appreciated.
