    I have been working at Sears

    Pros

    Nice working environment. There are lot of long term employee. Long standing employees are aware what they are doing and limitation for work place.

    Cons

    Complex system and process. In current situation the growth opportunity is limited. There are lot of headwind for Sears Canada in 2013 specially when Target in opening their stores in Canada.

    Advice to Management

    Simplify the system and process.

    Pros

    made some life long friends

    Cons

    no management skills ,only want their bonuses ,rapid credits and card share their only focus
    if its not in the sears bible its not the way to do things,promotions based on adherence to said bible not on competence or common sense.
    store cleanlinest not a priority .floors not cleaned in ten years! swept only.
    management in meetings or on conference all day .cannot be interupted for a customer because they are busy trying to figure out how to draw customer when they wont help the ones in the store.

    Advice to Management

    get a backbone stop talking gibberish and focus on the customer.
