I worked at Sears part-time (less than a year)

    Pros

Nothing really. The only thing is is, having a paycheck at the end of the month.

    Cons

Hours drop drastically if you cannot sell the credit cards, of course most customers say NO!
Their main focus is credit card sales because they make money off those cards and lose especially if the customers pay cash. The working environment is like walking on egg shells, everybody nervous because you never know who is watching or listening to you. If you go in as a sales associate, just know that you are there to lie to people's faces, that the credit card does things which it actually does not do.
Also, hours are so not flexible, if you decide to switch hours or fall sick, they take it as you are not serious and cut off your hours

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Think of more ways to make profit, besides those credit cards
Reward good behavior and treat your employees as humans, not as tools
Try to focus more on customer service
