Don't work for sears

MCA (Former Employee) Seattle, WA

ProsCoworkers are really nice and help each other out. It's pretty easy to get a job there. You get to meet a bunch of different people.

Consemployees are overworked and underpaid. Sometimes there aren't enough people working on the floor to get the job done. Supervisors yell at employees for not being able to finish even though there are only two people on the entire floor, besides cashiers

Advice to Senior ManagementHire more employees or give employees a raise. Turnover wouldn't be as high

Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend

Great schedule flexibility but that's it

    Appliance Sales (Current Employee)

I have been working at Sears full-time for more than 5 years

Pros: Very Flexible Schedule for students Cons: Too much negativity from managment, rarely any praise. Dead end… No, I would not recommend this company to a friend – I'm not optimistic about the outlook for this company… More

I have been working at Sears full-time for more than 5 years

Pros: Good people and flexible schedules hours are good when times are good! advancement does surface… Cons: No direction from upper management, meaningful changes stated same old song… Advice to Senior Management: Actually lay out a plan that trickles down. Pay more for support associates… No, I would not recommend this company to a friend More
