Other Employee Reviews for Sears

  1. Sears is a load of crap.

    Pros

Management in-store is decent. Pay is good.

    Cons

Sales Manager. He has his head so far up the District Manager's ass, he can do anything and get away with it. This company is going way down hill, very fast. Undoubtedly the worst Corporate in retail.

I have been working at Sears full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Decent money for DM's, Sears discount in the store

    Cons

Oh boy... having to bully Store Managers into unrealistic goals and teaching them to sell with ancient equipment. Some of our studios looked like everything was from the dollar store... and I am not kidding. Forcing telemarketing duties onto employees which did nothing but anger customers. Lots of travel, districts were spread out pretty far for some. Dirty studios stuck inside a dying business of Sears. No money for proper props or cleaning. Our job was to train sales persons, not photographers and it showed. Customers paid way too much for awful products.

    Advice to Management

Well it's out of business now... so... lol
