I worked at Sears part-time (more than a year)

Pros

Good Pay (when they don't have too many sales people)

Cons

Too many sales people on the floor at one time. Don't care about customers. Management thinks they know everything.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Listen to employees and hire more delivery drivers. When we could get some sales closed we would end up losing them to Lowe's because we could not deliver to the customer within a realistic time frame. Sears never kept enough stock inside the store.

I worked at Sears part-time (less than a year)

    Pros

The people in the departments were great and made sure that when I was their responsibility, that I was learning things to help get my job done and were open to answering my questions.

    Cons

Administration and HR haven't a clue whats going on. No Communication between them and departments, spent half my time going back and forth between to get simple things done.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Communicate with departments, and make sure your managers know what they are doing.
