Pros

Pleasant customers and co-workers for the most part.

Cons

Managment lack basic people skills, are often ill-informed, do not follow through or communicate. Have witnessed more than one manager publicly humiliate staff. This behavior is pervasive in my location.

Advice to Management

Yelling and subjective criticism are always unacceptable Communication is key, try it some time. The majority of your staff work hard, yet you allow slackers to stay on, you play favorities and your customer base suffers.

    Pros

Wonderful people to work with, many have been there for 30 or 40 years.

    Cons

No benefits other then health. Company expects you to work, no matter what and for as long as they want. No respect for peoples lives. Managers work 50+ hours and holidays 60+ same pay, no days off.

    Advice to Management

Take care of the people who make you money. Downsize corporate, no need for people to be on pebble, when there is money to be made and issues to resolve, Mr. Wexler. Sears was a good company, with a great reputation, wholesome and a go to store. Now customers run when they here Sears. Too Bad.
