    Pros

Can no longer think of any.

    Cons

I've been in retail for 35 years and this is by far the most poorly run company I've ever had the misfortune to work for.Terrible benefits that are constantly getting cut back. The company finds more and more ways to shrink commissions while hiding these cuts behind hard to reach performance goals. Constant pressure on store associates to meet higher and higher results while upper management gets Florida vacations on the backs of their workers.

    Advice to Management

Share the wealth! Make store associates part of any of these contests. Restart the 401 plan so your employees won't have to live on just Social Security and Food Stamps. Make the performance bonus attainable after all the company cut the commissions 1% just to give .5% back if performance goals are met, the company will come out .5% ahead . Recognize that your employees are your most valuable assets and you'll get better customer service. How can you expect your workers to care about the customers if you, Sears, doesn't care about your' workers.
