Awful, do not recommend for anyone to work here. They really do not care about you, and are all about pinching pennies.

I worked at Sears full-time (More than a year)

Pros

Flexible around school schedule, and some nice people there

Cons

Rude, managers do not care, no chances of advancement.

Advice to Management

Crackdown on the racism, and not allowing others to use racial slurs.

    Pros

    Flexible hours. In store discounts.

    Cons

Management disrespects employees as well as customers. Understaffed. Very underpaid for the work expected. The turn over rate is extremely high because of how employees are treated for minimum wage.

    Advice to Management

Yelling at associates doesn't help get anything done.

    Pros

I wish I could tell you some.

    Cons

Sears is more focused on driving metrics than they are about taking care of customer, I mean Members. There is no structured training program for Managers, you are expected to "figure it out", through their antiquated systems. Dictatorship is the ruling party at the store level. Can't find quality associates who want to work. And when you do, they are so over worked, paid so little, and constantly being asked to sign members up for credit and shop your way program. Commissioned associates who are not paid enough to deal with the demands of the members.
