A whole load of dull, unimaginative, misplaced effort.

I have been working at Sears part-time (less than a year)

    Pros

I suppose the only pro of working here is that it is easy to get hired. Also, it doesn't feel bad to quit at all. You actually feel quite liberated.

    Cons

Low wages, oblivious management, disorganization, unfun work environment, unfriendly coworkers, unrealistic expectations for those that work commission.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Stop "pushing your numbers." Take your employees off commission (1/2 percent commission for selling a TV, seriously?) and pay them actual good wages instead and you will surely see improvement in the moods of your employees.

I worked at Sears part-time (less than a year)

    Pros

Sears is a trusted name with quality products. Employees are great to work with.

    Cons

Can only work part time- so benefits are limited. Manager was on the clock but not there half the time. Who schedules someone to work 6 hrs a week?

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Bad management should be watched. There was no one to report to if the manager was never there. Work week should be at least 20 hrs!
