Pros

They work with your schedule so you can do to school or social life

Cons

They are starting to micro manage to much. The curb rule will get you fired if you dont follow it and they are very case driven. Also there pay is horrible i was grandfathered in to the right pay scale. Dont expect more then 9.00/hr

    Pros

My position as sears was pretty cut straight, I am a cashier, and unlike other stores, cashiers just pretty much stay on the register, and sometimes help the MCA's, mostly only when closing. I thought the job was pretty decent
the leads were all pretty cool, I worked in a really small sears, so most of the associates knew each other. training was pretty much as you go along, when you first get hired they have you do a long training process on the computer that takes up like 3 days worth of work. Associates are all nice, stress level was low for the position I was in

    Cons

Managers play favoritism wish associates, placing them in whatever department, they want to be in, and not which department needs the most help, They try to call you in on your off day a lot, but I am a full time college student so i comprising that was always an issue for me. Pay is low, i started at 8.00 per hour.

    Advice to Management

Try to find a better incentive for credit card applications

    Pros

Sears was available to offer a flexible schedule and working hours which fit my desire to attend university full time while working full time. About the only good thing I can say

    Cons

Very unfriendly coworkers. Large amount of gossip and backstabbing going on. Managers unresponsive to complaints about working conditions. Very long hours and boring work environment. No room for growth/professional development.

    Advice to Management

Realize that the people working for you are your most important asset as a company.
