Cons

can be difficult (schedule wise) for parents, expect to work saturdays, sundays, holidays, must be able to lift heavy loads ( 20 lbs maybe )

Advice to Management

expand some of our older sites, update some of the office equipment, benefits package is okay, cross training options would be nice

    Pros

There are some very smart people in the company. The company has an interesting direction that may or may not pan out. Upper management is throwing allot of money at R&D but waisting most of it on random stupid issues.

    Cons

Upper management tend to be Yes men to the A.D.D Chairman of the board. Every small issue causes a complete halt of productivity because everyone has to be brought on board to fix it immediately (it doesn't matter that there is little to no value obtained by fixing it).

    Advice to Management

Allow your director/Manager level employees to help set priorities of issues. if you demand that a stupid issue gets fixed it is going to be done before a critical issue thus costing you more money in the end. It also causes allot of frustration to the people on the front lines (IT) they work hard and are often forced to break things because your unwilling to allow them the time to develop something the right way.
