This is a place travelling nurses end up staying because it is a great facility, though recent events have hurt morale.

I have been working at Seattle Children's

    Pros

It can be hard to get in, but once you are in you are in.

    Cons

It is a who you know organization. The organization preaches that they want to be competitive with salaries for staff, but know their first offer is usually 80% of market average. Never accept their first offer. Contractors make substantially more than staff in the same position and when they are brought on they sometimes are given much higher titles than their experience merits due to their compensation demands.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Continue to value employees and patient family ideas and feedback, no matter what their position is.
