    Pros

Excellent benefits, Wonderful work-life balance, community is deeply committed to the mission of the university, and deeply committed to eachother.

    Cons

In non-faculty jobs, one must adjust to the "non-profit discount" as far as pay is concerned.

I have been working at Seattle University

    Pros

The people are great! - students, employees, and the community
    Awesome benefits package
    Flexible schedule (depending on job)
    Good location
    Opened minded people

    Cons

    The salary is low
There is not much room for advancement or growth
It's hard to not feel like I'm in a dead end job. Not that it's a bad thing... I love what i do here, but i don't want to do it forever
Some people are very resistant to change

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Figure out a way to unify the departments. Everyone is in their own world (mostly) to the detriment of progress and flexibility.
