Pros

Advancement opportunities if you work hard and stand out. You get generous amount of time off, but have fun trying to use it.

Cons

No work life balance at all. They are "no excuses" according to management for anything. They will draw on her blood to please the client with no help and heavy caseloads. Basically, you are better off going somewhere else in the claim industry. Or, get out once you have experience. Turnover is very high. No incentives at to examiners but management gets them.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Stop promising the moon and the stars to the client on a poor budget-all off the backs of the employees. You will never have stable accounts this way- BE REALISTIC!

    Pros

The benefit package is good and they give you a good amount of vacation days. There is no waiting period for benefits to start once hired.

    Cons

The work load is too high and there are not enough employees for the work. Monthly metrics are unrealistic for the work load.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Hire more people so the work can be distributed out in a reasonable level. Try to give employees time to investigate pending claims before giving them a load of new claims.

I worked at Sedgwick Claims Management Services

    Pros

The health benefits are very good and I liked most of my co-workers.

    Cons

The hours are not great when you start as the best shifts are offered by seniority and performance.
The pay could be better for the call center reps.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

The call center employees deserve more respect. They're in the trenches, the front line and are the heart and soul of the company. Be kind to them.
