Moving from Okay to Good... to Great?

Program Manager (Current Employee)
Washington, DC

ProsOpportunities for advancement are very good for the talented and motivated. Many initiatives are moving the company in the right direction. Salaries are competitive especially in the classified Defense / Intelligence space.

ConsCompany does not have a great "bench" for consultants, so if there is no project that matches your qualifications, you may be out of a job. This tends to be typical for government contractors.

There is also a lot of resistance to change which is hindering corporate progress.

Advice to Senior ManagementThe company needs to address the bench problem. Lots of experience and training walks out the door when projects close.

Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend
