Awful experience working there. No value for their employees, bureaucratic, process driven, old fashioned culture.

I have been working at Serco full-time for more than a year

    Pros

    Lots of internal opportunities available.

    Cons

Endless! They do not allow people to excel, they do not foster an entrepreneurial culture, decisions take forever, disjointed, unsupportive, unorganised chaos.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Try diversifying your hiring, everyone seems to be ex-forces or civil service. An aging workforce with a mono-culture of backgrounds does not work.

I have been working at Serco full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Good for learning within a short span(provided you have the drive)

    Cons

Projects managed in a totally haphazard manner (no process followed)
    No work life balance
Absolutely pathetic treatment to professionals (from operations)
    Salary inversely proportional to work

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Please consider retaining employees who are an asset to the company
Dont be miserly while hiring/ appraising good employees (advice to higher management)
