I worked at Service Master full-time for more than a year

Pros

Lots of overtime if they were really busy, get into good shape from demolition. The bond with the coworkers was amazing and we always had each others back.

Cons

They will work you and work you non stop when busy and not give you any hours when slow. Just concered with making profit, not the wellbeing of employees.

I have been working at Service Master

    Pros

As a national company I am sure that all franchises are not the same and give credit that the overall business model is good

    Cons

24 hour on call with no dedicated time off, limited tool resources management that treats you with little respect, little or no training for many of the employees, overly complicated paper work

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Treat people with respect. Hire and retain people with the job skills needed, examine your past business history and see if you can see any changes that should be made, decide if you want to keep hiring random canidates or build a loyal team. Constant change breeds chaos
