  1. They are driven to drive you work for as many hours, with as little pay as possible.

I have been working at ServiceMaster

    Pros

Good co-workers always there to help one another out.

    Cons

Low pay, no overtime paid, be ready to work lots of unpaid overtime. They offer all these bonuses for extra work preformed or sales, then raise goal amounts to unobtainable levels so you don't get paid for what you do. 6am to 7pm is NORMAL hours worked.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

I've seen more customers drop services because management RUSHES employees to get a job done, and having it done right is not important. Unhappy over worked under paid employees = unhappy customers going elsewhere.

    I worked at ServiceMaster

    Pros

Good company culture. Good people. Leader in the industry. The company knew who they were, what they were and why they were and lived the vision.

    Cons

Strong glass ceiling. A good old boys club. hard to get ahead. The company and industry was very gender driven and it was not often that you would see women in leadership roles. Even good, strong, competent women and minorities were often suppressed into gender defined roles.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

The company has a very short-term philosophy and needs to think about the longer bigger picture for success. That includes understanding and accepting ideas and people that are different then the SVM norm to move ahead.

    No opinion of CEO
