Pros

Lots of advancement opportunities in different areas

Cons

Senior Management is out of touch w/ customers needs and make repeated changes w/o consulting w/ people who talk to customers everyday. Can be very frustrating in certain areas b/c branches are franchised

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Focus on changing issues w/ the service and not the cost of the service. NOBODY wlll pay for bad service. Also invest in your employee's! A company cannot grow if the employee's are not growing as well

    I worked at ServiceMaster full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

    Highly flexible work schedule with relaxed dress code and office environment. Some reimbursement for gas and vehicle expenses with company cell phone provided free of charge.

    Cons

    Poor base salary with confusing commission structure which varied at the whim of owner. Poor communication of necessary information to accomplish duties. Lack of professional workplace (dogs running around, etc.) and no overall coordination of effort or establishment of strategy for success.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Needs to establish focus of effort and business structure to set and monitor progress toward goals and reign in wasteful spending.

    In sales you can make as much as u can sell with no caps

    Cons

    You cant work over 40 hours
