    Pros

    The pay is very good for the Memphis area.

    Cons

    Never provided with training. New Employee orientation 6 weeks after start date. You have to use the help desk for any problems you may encounter and the people who work there are incompetent. Too much religion in the workplace.

    Advice to Management

    This organization is too top heavy. The upper levels of management seem to have no idea what the other people do. New employees are thrown to the lions and given zero training, but are expected to know all company policies and how to perform internal functions from day one.

    Pros

    Great line to get you hired. If they want you, you get the offer within 24 hours of the interview process compeltion. Many of the other employees are great people and you can all bond over the hours you work.

    Cons

    ServiceMaster no longer seems to care about employees. We work very long hours and receive disapproving attitudes if we need to take a few hours for something personal. Favortism abounds and the company needs desperately to improve its IT systems - you cannot get the data you need when you need it. Benefits have recently been severely downgraded and are the worst I have ever recieved.

    Advice to Management

    Focus on your employees - they make the company. We will work hard for a company that cares about us.
